Why Stacy dumped Clooney
Stacy Keibler rdumped George Clooney because he doesn’t want children.
Keibler (33) was reportedly ready to settle down, but was forced to call time on her two-year relationship with 52-year-old Clooney because he has made it clear that he has no desire to get married or start a family.
A source told People: "Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago."
The insider insisted that the split was amicable, saying: "They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they’ll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup]."
Sources have also indicated that their busy work schedules were a contributing factor to their split – with Keibler based in the US with her Lifetime show Supermarket Superstar, while Clooney films the Monuments Men in Europe.
A friend explained: "They haven’t seen each other in a while and they’ve both been working so much, so in recent months, they’ve started growing apart."
