Dashcam footage of Reese Witherspoon’s arrest has been released… And it’s not pretty.
In the first video, after Witherspoon’s husband Jim Toth was arrested for driving under the influence, Witherspoon climbs out the car, claiming to be pregnant and needing the bathroom.

In an interview with Good Morning America, however, Witherspoon revealed that she had lied to the police officer, claiming that she "panicked".
"’I had no idea what I was thinking that night," she said. "I said all kinds of crazy things to the officer. I even told him I was pregnant. I am not pregnant!"
The second video, obtained by gossip website TMZ, shows a very antagonistic Witherspoon arguing with the police officer, and repeatedly saying that she is "an American citizen" and that the officer was "harrassing" her.
She also uttered the now-famous "You’re about to find out who I am!"

In her GMA interview, Witherspoon said that both her and her husband were "sorry".
"It was just one of those nights – we went out to dinner and had one too many glasses of wine," she said.
"We thought we were okay to drive but we definitely were not. We are just so sorry this happened. We know better than that. It’s something that will absolutely never happen again."
