Sexiest Man Alive named by People
Adam Levine has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.
The Maroon 5 frontman and Voice coach topped the magazine’s annual list, and revealed to People that he was "stunned" by the honour.
"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table.
"I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool."
In his cover interview, Levine revealed that he’s looking forward to settling down with his fiancee, Namibian Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo. "I didn’t think marriage was for me for a long time," the 34-year-old singer said . "I was ready when I was ready. That’s about as simple as it could possibly be."
Levine – who said that he loves to be naked – credits yoga and spinning for keeping his stamina up, especially at a time where his career continues to soar.
He told People: "This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction … And I’m not taking any of it for granted."
Levine tops a list of A-List stars this year – with Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom star Idris Elba, singer Bruno Mars, comedian Jimmy Fallon, singers Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams, football icon David Beckham and Jennifer Aniston’s fiance Justin Theroux all appearing in this year’s list.
