Ryan, Eva ‘on the rocks’
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes’ relationship is allegedly on the rocks, and friends of the couple – who have been dating for two years after meeting on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines – believe that they may soon call time on their relationship.
A source close to Gosling told Us Weekly that the Drive star’s relationship with Mendes has been shaky since they took a brief break six months ago to reassess their feelings.
The insider said: "He can be moody, and she’s insecure. She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he’s talking to other girls. I wouldn’t be surprised if they split for good soon."
Another source blames the couple’s romantic troubles on Mendes’ "phobia" about commitment.
A source told Showbiz Spy: "Ryan’s friends know he is ready to settle down, 100 percent. Eva loves Ryan, but she’s very non-traditional when it comes to what she wants. She’s phobic about commitment. That’s the root of the problem."
