Mila wants ‘Fifty Shades’ role

January 25, 2013

Mila Kunis wants to star in the big screen adaptation of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.

The 29-year-old beauty insists she would have a "good time" playing Anastasia Steele in movie version of EL James’ erotic novel – which details S&M-crazed billionaire Christian Grey’s relationship with the young student – because she would love to do something "fun and different".

She said: "There are times when you just want to do something fun and different, because you’re going to have a good time doing it."

As well as Kunis, several stars have been linked to the part of Anastasia including Harry Potter actress Emma Watson and brunette beauty Keira Knightley, but the Pirates of the Caribbean star has confirmed she will "definitely not" be taking on the raunchy role.

When asked if her next project will be a more risque literary adaptation than she has done in the past, she replied: "No, it’s not. It’s not going to be Fifty Shades of Grey. You know, I normally don’t like to give a definite about anything, [but] I can definitely say it will not be Fifty Shades of Grey."

What’s more, a number of male stars have been linked to the role of Christian – who introduces Anastasia to the world of bondage and kinky sex – including Channing Tatum, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy and Jake Gyllenhaal, who is keen on portraying the lead male.

When asked if he would consider taking on the part, Gyllenhaal recently said: "Yeah, of course! I always want to work, man, of course."
