Megan Fox’s baby name revealed
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have named their newborn son Bodhi Ransom Green.
According to the infant’s birth certificate – which was obtained by TMZ – Bodhi was born at 8.05pm on 12 February at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Hollywood.
The tot is younger brother to the couple’s two-year-old son Noah, and Green’s 11-year-old son Kassius from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.
The name "Bodhi" is a Sanskrit one that is translated into English as "englightenment" or "awakened", and refers to the Buddhist concept of the path to Nirvana and being free from suffering.
Fox – who will soon be seen as April O’Neill in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot – previously said that she found both her pregnancies "rough" in the first trimester.
But she added that being a mother to Noah helped her take her mind off her second pregnancy, saying: "
"I don’t have time to think about [what’s different this time], I have a one-year-old running around. And then when you’re working like 16 hours a day, there’s no time for you at all."
The 27-year-old actress tied the knot with Green in 2010 after six years together.
