Linkin Park crawling to perform in SA

Cape Town – 5FM announced on Monday that US rock band Linkin Park will be touring South Africa.

The announcement was made by DJ Fresh during his afternoon show on 5FM, The Fresh Drive.

The five-piece banded, fronted by singer Chester Bennington, will play at stadiums in South Africa in November 2012.

Linkin Park will perform at the Cape Town Stadium on 7 November and at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on 10 November.

Tickets will be available exclusively to Linkin Park Underground fan club members on 24 July at 09:00 until 25 July at 17.00for Johannesburg and Cape Town, before they go on sale to the public.

This will be the first time the band performs in South Africa.

Their fifth studio album, Living Things, was released in June this year.
