Kylie splits from boyfriend
Kylie Minogue has split from her boyfriend of five years, Spanish model Andres Velencoso.
A representative for the 45-year-old singer confirmed the break-up, and described the split as "amicable".
A source told Us Weekly that the pair will remain friends, saying: "It was more of a time thing – they didn’t get much of it together.
"There was no fallout, they’re still friends, just not lovers anymore."
Another insider confirmed the reason for the split, telling the The Sun: "Kylie and Andres haven’t spent much time together because she’s been holed up in a studio in LA working on her new album.
"He’s also been trying to carve out an acting career for himself. When she signed up for The Voice [UK] they knew they couldn’t cope with the long-distance pressures the job would put on them."
The source told Us Weekly: "She’s doing alright – she throws herself into her work during times like this and she’s got so much work going on at the moment."
