Los Angeles – Kourtney Kardashian was horrified when she recently witnessed a water birth.

The reality TV star had originally planned on using the delivery method when she gives birth to her second child but after recently attending a friend’s water birth, she was shocked at how “brutally painful” it looked, according to TMZ.com.

Kourtney has now decided against using the technique and has instead decided to check into a birthing suite at Cedars-Sinai hospital.

After the birth, a diplomatic : “Witnessed a water birth last night with @KhloeKardashian. What an experience! All I can say is WOW! (sic)”

‘We go to therapy’

Kourtney and boyfriend Scott Disick – who already have a two-year-old son Mason together – recently revealed they are in therapy in order to keep their relationship strong.

She said: “He’s grown so much over the years. I love seeing him as a dad – he’s great with Mason – and I’m not saying that we’re perfect.

“We go to therapy, which helps us a lot. I think we’re always working to better ourselves, which I think a lot of people can do.

“I could go into the therapy session despising him, but by the time I leave – even if he’s not in there – I feel like I understand him so much more.”
