Kim’s ex profits from her ring

Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband reportedly made a $370 000 profit after auctioning off her engagement ring.

The basketball player auctioned the reality star’s 20-carat diamond ring for $620 000 through Christie’s in New York, and the ring’s designer is reportedly furious as the piece – which features a 16.21-carat centre diamond between two 1.8-carat diamonds – is actually valued at $2-million.

A source told Radar Online that Schwartz had given Humphries a "huge discount" and sold it to him for just $250 000 in 2011 because of her friendship with Kardashian.

According to the source, Schwartz had hoped that Humphries would return the ring for a refund instead of selling it.

"He could have returned [the] ring, very low-key and would have had his money returned," the source said. "Lorraine Schwartz took a huge loss on it, and would have appreciated first offer of refusal before it was put up for auction."
