Kim’s baby name revealed

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their newborn daughter North West.

TMZ first broke the news yesterday (20 June), citing the baby’s birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai hospital, and now a source close to E! News – which is part of the network that airs Kardashian’s reality show Keepoing Up With the Kardashians – has confirmed the tot has been named North and will be called "Nori" for short.

The family source described newborn North as "adorable", and says: "She has black straight hair! Lots of it! Looks like a good mix of both of them but more like Kim.

"Kanye is so in love with her. He won’t leave her side."

Earlier this week, infamously unreliable gossip site Media Take Out claimed that the couple had called their daughter "Kaidence Donda West" – a report that was picked up by most publications.
