Khloe’s hubby checks into rehab

Lamar Odom has checked into a rehabilitation facility to seek treatment for reported drug addiction, two sources have confirmed to People.

The magazine quoted a source as saying: "He realised he needs help."

Basketball star Odom – who has been married to reality star Khloe Kardashian since 2009 – was arrested for driving under the influence in California, and has lost his license for a year after refusing to take a chemical test.

Odom has been at the centre of drug rumours over recent weeks, with various sources claiming that he was addicted to crack cocaine, and a drug dealer claiming that he had sold the star over $50 000 worth of cocaine in the space of three years.

According to reports, Kardashian and her family staged a failed intervention for the star last month, before she kicked him out of their marital home.

He reportedly spent six days in a hotel room trying to kick his habit, before returning home.

Odom has also been linked to affairs with two separate women while married to Kardashian.

According to People, Odom has admitted to drug use in the past. He spoke about his marijuana use in 2003, saying: "I just couldn’t control myself in LA… the lifestyle that I was living and the things I had access to."
