Ke$ha has checked into rehab facility

Ke$ha has checked into a rehabilitation facility to seek treatment for an undisclosed eating disorder.

In a statement released through her publicisit, the Tik Tok singer said: "I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I’ve found it hard to practice. I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder… to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am."

The 26-year-old pop star – whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert – checked into the Timberline Knolls treatment centre near Chicago on Friday.

The facility is the same one that treated Demi Lovato for her eating disorder, self-mutilation and drug and alcohol abuse issues in 2010.
