Katy and John have split again – report
Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly called time on their relationship.
According E! News, Perry – who was spotted with a ring on her engagement finger earlier this year, sparking speculation that Mayer had popped the question – has called off her romance with Mayer "within the last few days".
While the source revealed the couple had split, no further details were made available, and neither Perry nor Mayer have addressed the reports.
Perry and Mayer – who recently recorded the duet Who You Love for Mayer’s new album Paradise Valley – went public with their romance in 2012, although they split briefly in March last year. However, the couple seemed to have settled down in recent months, and a source told E! News in November that a wedding seemed "inevitable".
The insider revealed that the couple’s loved ones were rooting for them to stay together, adding that Perry and Mayer "are so perfect together".
However, Mayer was notably absent from Perry’s recent trip to Europe. And while Perry has been tweeting up a storm around her tour, Mayer has been silent on Twitter since Monday.
