Kanye West’s diva demands

Kanye West reportedly demanded that his dressing room carpet be ironed.

The 36-year-old rapper caused an uproar on the set of the Later… With Jools Holland show on Tuesday (17 September) with his bizarre demands ahead of his performance on the show.

West – who has a three-month old daughter North with Kim Kardashian – was furious with the set for his performance and demanded it be rebuilt.

Although Sting and Kings of Leon were also performing on the show, West insisted on being given more than half of the 15 available dressing rooms for himself and his entourage.

In addition, he demanded that his dressing room be replaced entirely in the colour white – including the walls, sofas and flowers – and requested that his carpet be flattened out with an iron because it was too "bumpy" for his liking.

A source told The Sun: "Everybody knew Kanye’s reputation for being a handful, but nobody had heard of a request for a carpet to be ironed before.

"His entourage took over the studio, even though plenty of other stars were present.

"Luckily once he got to the performance he was very quiet and unassuming."
