I’m not dating Katie – Foxx

Jamie Foxx has rubbished rumours that he is dating Katie Holmes.

The actor was responding to a report from In Touch magazine, which claimed that Foxx and Holmes had been dating for two months, and told Entertainment Tonight that the rumours are "100 percent not true".

He added: "In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."

In Touch had previously reported that "sparks were clearly flying between Katie and Jamie" at a star-studded party in New York in August, where they were spotted dancing together and Holmes was seen taking a sip from Foxx’s cocktail. Later, when Foxx joined Pharrell Williams on stage, he waved Holmes – who was previously married to Foxx’s close friend Tom Cruise – up to join him.

A source claimed to In Touch magazine that Foxx and Holmes had been spending time together at her New York apartment, and claimed that she had stayed with him at his hotel for a night while he was filming Annie in mid-September.

A representative for Holmes has previously said that the couple are close friends, but nothing more.
