Hough wanted ‘low-key’ life

Julianne Hough couldn’t handle Ryan Seacrest’s hectic work schedule.

The 24-year-old Safe Haven actress split up with the 38-year-old American Idol host recently after almost three years together because she reportedly wants a "more low-key life" and friends don’t think they will ever reconcile.

A source told Us Weekly: "It’s a lifestyle she couldn’t handle anymore. Work always, always came first [for Ryan]. She wants a more low-key life.

"Dude works all the time. He never sleeps."

Another source explained that the couple grew tired of struggling to make time for each other, saying: "Honestly, their schedules were too hectic. It just got to be too much. I think they both just sort of knew they couldn’t do it anymore. The travel and lifestyle got to be too much. Who knows if this is just for now, but I think this is for good."

Seacrest – who is also a producer on Keeping Up With The Kardashians as well as a number of other reality TV shows – has been getting over the split by partying with Justin Timberlake at the iHeartRadio release party for the singer’s new album The 20/20 Experience in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Hough has been making the most of her downtime by hanging out with her female friends, including Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev at a basketball game.
