Gwen Stefani gives birth
Gwen Stefani gave birth to her third child at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Friday.
The No Doubt singer and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their son Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale into the world, a tweet from Rossdale revealed, adding that the infant’s middle names were drawn from the couple’s mothers’ maiden names.
The couple – who already have sons Kingston (7) and Zuma (5) – have been married for 11 years, and divide their time between London and Los Angeles.
According to Us Weekly, Stefani revealed in October 2012 that she had almost given up on having a third child, and hinted at a traumatic experience.
She told Marie Claire: "I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn’t really work out.
"So… I feel good with what we’ve got. Everything works out how it should. You can’t plan anything, right? You can try."
