Gomez, Bieber’s dinner spat
Selena Gomez stormed out off a dinner date with Justin Bieber on Friday night (16 November).
Gomez (20) was spotted fleeing a Japanese restaurant in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles after apparently having a huge argument with the Baby singer within 10 minutes of sitting down together.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Gomez – who recently dumped the Boyfriend singer after almost two years together because she reportedly didn’t trust him – exited the eatery alone and drove home, followed by the 18-year-old heartthrob.
According to photographers, Bieber chased Gomez back to her house but she refused to open her security gates for him and he left after a few minutes.
A source told E! Online: "Selena drove off [from the restaurant] and Justin just sat there for a few minutes. I think he was waiting for her to calm down. He then drove to her house. When he got there, he started buzzing her gate. But she was obviously not letting him in. He continued trying. Then, after a while he got out of his car, he was obviously frustrated and went up to the gate and started yelling ‘Selena’ over it. But she was not coming out.
"It was at this point [Justin] started to yell at the paps. He was obviously annoyed that they were there and witnessing everything. He was mad. Selena then came out, because there was such a commotion, he got in his car and left."
However, it is believed that the stars made up again that night – as Bieber was spotted leaving Gomez’s home the following morning, sparking speculation that they spent the night together.
The source continued: "Something must have happened overnight, though, because his car was there this morning."
The disastrous date came shortly after Justin hinted to his twitter followers he was struggling to deal with their break-up and admitted he was trying to figure his life out.
He wrote: "Things aren’t always easy. There is a lot of pressure. I’m figuring it all out. I’m trying. But I care, I notice, I still hear u. (sic)"
Selena and Justin have had numerous crisis talks about their future together in recent days.
The former couple fuelled speculation of a reconciliation after Bieber picked up Gomez at the airport before they stayed at her home together on Wednesday night (14 November), before being spotted together at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills the following day.
