Gaga hits back at Die Antwoord

Lady Gaga has taken to her Facebook page to respond to Die Antwoord’s latest music video Fatty Boom Boom.

In the video, an actor dressed in Gaga’s iconic meat dress takes a tour around a South African city before being hijacked and finally being eaten by a lion.

Now on her Facebook page, Gaga has responded to the video, writing a post referring to one of their latest singles I Fink U Freeky and alluding to her upcoming tour in South Africa:

"i fink u freaky but you don’t have a hit. hundred thousand tIckets sold in SA. #thatmyshit

"i guess its not a good idea to tell someone you’re a fan. never mind! we get it, you’re not a little monster. WE GOT IT."

On a post on their Facebook page, Die Antwoord responded with a post that read: "lady… even tho u r ‘larger’ than us… we still cooler than u… plus we don’t have prawns in our private parts… haha!"

The continued feud comes after Die Antwoord turned down a request to open for Lady Gaga on her world tour.

At the time, frontman Ninja was quoted as saying: "We like making pop music, but we like making hardcore music at the same time, mixing them, but they’ve got, like, soul. It’s not like weak, superficial shit. You know?"
