Eminem’s SA opening acts revealed
The opening acts for Eminem’s Rapture 2014 Tour to South Africa have been announced by Primedia and the Dainty Group.
American rapper Action Bronson and South Africa’s own Jack Parow will be the supporting acts for Eminem’s shows at Cape Town Stadium on 26 February and Ellis Park Stadium on 1 March.
Former chef and XXL Cover Freshman, Queens MC Bronson is known for his gritty style. After quitting the restaurant industry in 2009, he released his debut album Dr Lecter, followed by 2012’s Blue Chips in collaboration with Brooklyn-based producer Party Supplies and the Alchemist-helmed mixtape Rare Chandeliers.
In 2013, his EP Saab Stories debuted in the Top 10 in the US, and was followed up by Blue Chips 2, which was praised by critics. He has recently completed a sold-out US tour.
Accompanying Eminem and Bronson is local favourite Jack Parow, who has opened for international acts including Kings of Leon.
