Cops called for LiLo, mom row

Police were called to deal with an argument between Lindsay Lohan and her mother Dina.

Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s father, told Hollyscoop that he "called the police at Lindsay’s request" because the actress was being "held against her will" at Dina’s house in Long Island, New York, in the early hours of Wednesday morning (10 October).

"[Lindsay] even asked that I record the conversation because she was being held against her will by the limo driver at Dina’s instruction," Michael said.

A police spokesman told E! Online: "Police conducted an investigation and determined a verbal argument had occurred between Lindsay and her mom Dina.

"There’s no criminality and no arrests were made," he added.

According to TMZ, the row started after Lindsay and Dina left a nightclub at 4am, with insiders claiming the showbiz matriarch was "wasted".

Gossip website TMZ has obtained a recording of the call Lindsay made to her father, in which she accused her mother of taking cocaine.

Lindsay can be heard on the recording saying: "Dad, she’s on cocaine. She’s like touching her neck, and s**t."

According to the Liz & Dick star, the row broke out after Lindsay asked her mother for $40 000, which she had loaned Dina when she said she needed it to save her home from foreclosure. 

Lindsay told Michael: "She’s saying disgusting things to me … I’m dead to her now."

She then said her mother called her "nuts" and added: "She’s like the f**king devil right now."

The actress – who suffered a cut on her leg during the altercation – also directed her anger at Michael, saying: "This is what you do. You ruin people."

Michael added to Radar Online: "Lindsay was hysterical last night. She was crying and upset.

"Lindsay said ‘Dina is destroying me!’ Lindsay said that Dina does to her what she does to me! "

"She said that she wanted me to fly up there now. She doesn’t want her mother to demean her anymore."

Michael – who has three children with ex-wife Dina – added:  "Dina is endangering Lindsay, Ali and Cody and it has to stop. [Dina is] using the kids as pawns and lying to get money from both of us. She just took another $40 000 from Lindsay.

"Dina and her lies must stop. I will not have this done to my kids or be lied to anymore."
