Bloc Party to play Rocking the Daisies
Cape Town – Rocking the Daisies organisers announced on Thursday that UK rock band Bloc Party will be headlining this year’s festival.
A photo together with the following message was posted on the official: “BLOC PARTY to headline RTD 2012!!! We are amped! And you?”
Not even an hour after the announcement, Rocking the Daisies and Bloc Party were trending on Twitter.
Bloc Party shared their excitement on coming to South Africa, saying: “For the first time ever we are super excited to announce that we are playing South Africa! http://www.rockingthedaisies.com ?#fb”
Indie rock band Bloc Party are known for hits like Eating Glass, Helikopter and I Still Remember.
