Bieber’s CT antics revealed
Justin Bieber "misbehaved a bit" at the One & Only Hotel in Cape Town, a staff member revealed to eNCA.com.
Staff told the website that Bieber checked into the luxurious hotel on Tuesday – the day before he played a sold-out show at the Cape Town Stadium – where he ordered a Playstation and water cannons to be delivered to his room, and requested that the pool area be accessible only to him and his team.
Additionally, Bieber damaged a golf cart while messing around with his entourage.
A member of the hotel’s customer care told eNCA that Bieber and his bodyguards "used the carts to play bumper cars in the basement.
"He misbehaved a bit on the first night, I think it was the jet lag coming from Dubai," the staff member told eNCA.
Bieber’s production A&R co-ordinator Corey Gamble confirmed the incident, and told eNCA: "Yeah it happened, I had to pay for it myself … It’s got his custom scratches on it now."
Two staff members confirmed to eNCA that the pop star had to settle for a room on the fourth floor – allegedly room 407 – as foreign dignitaries in Cape Town for the World Economic Forum had booked the penthouse suites first.
Staff also confirmed that his mother, Pattie Mallette, had been staying with Bieber at the hotel.
Cape Town Beliebers still hoping to catch a glimpse of the star will be disappointed, as Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun confirmed that the 19-year-old icon had left Cape Town and was doing "something special" now.
One & Only staff revealed that Bieber had gone on a safari in the days leading up to his Johannesburg show, scheduled for Sunday (12 May) at the FNB Stadium.
