Bieber slams Lohan in new rant

March 15, 2013

Justin Bieber has insisted he is nothing like Lindsay Lohan.

The Beauty And A Beat singer lashed out at comparisons to the 26-year-old troubled starlet – who is set to go on trial next week after being charged with lying to police about a car accident, and is  battling to pay her huge tax bills – in a lengthy rant on Instagram as he attempted to defend his recent bad behaviour.

The 19-year-old popstar, who was criticised after he performed two hours late in London and threatened a photographer earlier this month, said he is nothing like the Liz & Dick actress, writing: "And to those comparing me to Lindsey (sic) Lohan look at her 2012 tax statements."

He quickly deleted the comment referring to Lohan, and told TMZ: "My post was only up for a few minutes but I realised right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say.

"I immediately deleted it and rewrote it so it would show what I was really feeling and those words are up now."

Also during his Instagram rant, the Canadian popstar also hit back at predictions he will seek treatment in rehab and insisted that his close-knit family are not disappointed by his recent behaviour.

He wrote: "if Anyone believes i need rehab thats their own stupidity lol I’m 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I’ve seen the whole world. 19 and I’ve accomplished more than I could’ve ever dreamed of, i’m 19 and it must be scary to some people to think that this is just the beginning.

"I know my talent level and i know i got my head on straight. i know who i am and i know who i’m not My messege is to to believe. My albums could be about anything but my messages have been to never say never and believe, not to believe in me but to believe in yourself .. I honestly don’t care if you don’t believe in me because I believe in me, my friends believe, my family believe, my fans believe, and look where that’s gotten me so far (sic)"

Bieber admitted he will make probably more mistakes in the future despite his desire to be a "good person".

He wrote: "All this isn’t easy. I get angry sometimes. I’m human. I’m gonna make mistakes. In gonna grow and get better from them. But all the love from you guys overcomes the negativity. I love u. Thanks"
