Bieber concerned about ‘nude pic’ leak
Justin Bieber is reportedly concerned that private information from his cellphone will be leaked.
The teen singer’s phone was seized by police during a raid at his home in California on Tuesday as part of an investigation into an egg-throwing incident, and Bieber is reportedly worried about what police will find on his mobile.
According to TMZ, officers are looking for text messages to incriminate Bieber in the egg-throwing incident, which reportedly caused $20 000 in damages to a neighbour’s home, while the star is more worried about drug references in his texts and nude pictures he has stored on his device.
According to Radar Online, Bieber’s friends and family are "deeply concerned" about the star’s behavior and recreational drug use, and are urging him to check into rehab to get help – which he has so far refused.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles County Sherrif’s lieutenant David Thompson has defended his decision to send 12 detectives to Bieber’s home to carry out the raid on Tuesday, insisting that the force was necessary because of the size of the mansion – which boasts a "humongous" garage and a guest house – and the criminal records held by some of Bieber’s associates.
Thompson told FoxNews.com: "I’m being criticised for having too much, but I don’t think I had enough.
"We were dealing with three locations. And we had no idea how many people were in that house. He has had so many people in there before – some tied to guns, drugs and all kinds of things.
"We had 12 detectives and there were in fact seven people at the house. To me, those odds aren’t that good."
He added" "When we got there, we were looking for anything that would support the crime. We were not looking for eggs. We were looking for security footage, which we did get.
"[Bieber] has not been arrested, but he’s not been ruled out. The neighbour identified him and he is a suspect in this case."
During the raid, police arrested 20-year-old Lil Za, who has been charged with felony possession of a class A drug – believed to be cocaine.
