Beyonce wants more kids
Beyonce wants more children.
The Halo hitmaker gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, in January 2012 and revealed she and husband Jay-Z would love to expand their brood.
She told the March issue of US Vogue: "When I was younger, there were moments where I said, ‘I’m not going to have children,’ and then there were moments when I wanted four. And now I definitely want another, but I don’t know when."
While Beyonce and Jay-Z are two of the most famous people in the world, the couple hope their daughter will have a normal childhood.
Beyonce explained: "It’s very important to me that my daughter is able to experience life and run through sprinklers. Have slumber parties and trust and live and do all the things that any child should be able to do."
She also revealed that she talked to her daughter while giving birth last year.
She told Vogue: "I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn’t think about my own pain. We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication.
"I felt very maternal around eight months and I thought I couldn’t become any more until I saw the baby, but it happened during my labour because I had a very strong connection with my child."
The 31-year-old singer recently revealed Blue Ivy has started talking and the singing sensation says motherhood has been a "beautiful" moment in her life.
She said: "When I wake up in the morning, the best thing in the world is seeing her face. She’s starting to talk. It’s just such a beautiful time in my life to have a child and every day see something new and see her learn something new."
Beyonce also praised her rapper spouse – whose real name is Shawn Carter – for being such a loving spouse and supporting her in everything she does.
She said: "My husband is incredible. He’s so supportive."
