Hope and Oliver get caught up in a passionate kiss and he asks her to make love to him. Liam interrupts their intimate moment and immediately explains why he didn’t show up at the party.

Jackie suggests that she return to the company to help rebuild their reputation along with Owen … and hopefully Bridget.

Meanwhile, Brooke pleads with Stephanie to take her side about allowing Thomas this opportunity with the Taboo line. When Liam tells Bill and Katie about his evening with Hope and Oliver, he thinks that Liam should dump Hope for cheating on him.

Amber assures Oliver that Hope will be his again and offers to help him in exchange for him fulfilling her “needs”.
Angry, Taylor let’s Stephanie know that it’s not “if” Brooke will go after her son, but “when.”Stephanie is left speechless when Taylor goes on an obsessive rant about Thomas needing protection from Brooke.

Liam takes Hope to a secluded area on the beach where he speaks to her candidly about her relationship with Oliver and how the death of his mother has changed him. Hope and Liam share a steamy kiss.

Thomas assures Taylor that he doesn’t resent her for giving her shares of the company to Steffy and explains that Brooke is helping to make everything okay because she is helping him to work his way up the ladder the old fashioned way, with hard work.

Stephen broaches the topic of his continuing relationship with Pam and asks his daughters to let bygones by bygones and to move forward. Stephen, Donna and Katie are skeptical when Brooke reveals that Stephanie’s cancer has changed her perspective on life.

Amber and Oliver panic when Aggie arrives unannounced. Amber hides on the patio and listens as Aggie tells Oliver not to give up on Hope and begins to malign Amber.

Oliver tries to continue to cover to his sister, but Amber reveals the truth; that she and Oliver are living together.

Aggie leaves and Amber begins to pack. Oliver reminds her that she doesn’t need to defend herself anymore. Although Oliver assures her that he doesn’t see her like Aggie does, he tells her that she still needs to leave.

Taylor is beside herself when Ridge admits to her that if her fears would have been correct, and there were truly more between Brooke and Thomas than just the fashion line, his marriage would have been over.

 9 – 13 Jan

Ridge and Brooke make love and then discuss Stephanie, Taylor and Thomas. Ridge is surprised when Brooke tells him that Stephanie sided with her over Taylor. Brooke and Ridge look at photos and remark how happy they are to be together and growing old. Brooke pledges to Ridge to never let anything happen again.

Oliver doesn’t allow Amber to berate herself for all of the mistakes she has made in the past. She wholeheartedly apologizes to him for all the messes she has gotten him into. Oliver surprises her and gives her a key to the apartment above the garage.

Hope is surprised to see Amber at Forrester Creations. She let’s Amber have it when she reveals she was hoping to see Rick to get a job. She accuses Amber of being a manipulator who enjoys hurting people.

Amber and Hope continue to talk about Hope’s love life. Amber continues to persuade Hope that Liam is just like his father and she should not give up on Oliver. Hope doesn’t want to listen but she doesn’t want to leave, either.

Liam visits Oliver at home and demands he stop making moves on his girl. Oliver reminds Liam that he works with Hope and that him taking her out of a photo shoot was unacceptable.

Amber arrives home and starts to come through the patio door but Oliver waves her away. She sees Liam and hides on the patio. Hope thanks Ridge and Brooke for everything they have done for her.

Hope explains that it is not as simple as that, that she is still torn between the two of them. They are interrupted by a call from Liam who tells Hope he wants to see her tonight; that he has made plans and that she will be his top priority.

Bill turns around Oliver’s threat and reminds him of how Hope may react to learning that he had a part in Liam’s limo debacle. Because Liam has been bringing up the topic of sex recently, Hope realizes that it is time that they have a serious discussion about it.

Amber encourages Oliver to accept Bill’s offer so that they all can benefit from the projected outcome.

Jarrett conducts an interview and family photo shoot with Thomas, Ridge and Taylor. Whip runs into Brooke at lunch where they discuss the current state of his and Taylor’s marriage.

Bill instructs Liam that his first priority is now Spencer Publications and that he needs to spend less time with Hope.
