1 – 9 Feb
Ridge grills Thorne about how the backstage photo of Brooke and Thomas could have been taken. Thorne suggests that whomever it that took it may have something to gain from it.
Liam is determined to tell Hope about what happened between him and Amber. Hope surprises Liam with a picnic in the garden, which makes him feel even guiltier about what he has to confess.
Amber receives an unexpected visit from her meddling mother, Tawny.
Despite Amber’s chilly reception, Tawny makes herself at home and begins to grill her daughter about her love life.
Even after Ridge tells her why Whip is after him, Brooke isn’t convinced that Whip is behind the photo. While Amber tries to convince her mother into returning to Furnace Creek, Tawny tries to persuade Amber into pursuing Liam, if anything, for his money.
Hope is devastated by Liam’s confession that he slept with Amber. She is convinced that Amber seduced Liam as payback for Hope exposing the stolen “Hot Line” designs. Amber is stunned that she is pregnant after only having sex once recently and using protection.
Ridge tells Taylor that Whip had set Thomas and Brooke up for that backstage photo. As Ridge is comforting Taylor, Whip enters and confronts Ridge about badmouthing him.
Brooke plans to get to the truth about what really happened between Amber and Liam. Hope agrees to give Liam a second chance, but he must do a few things to prove to her that he deserves it. Katie is pleased to learn that Bill has had a change of heart with regards to Liam and Hope’s relationship.
Stephanie and Brooke try to figure out their new places in each other’s lives. Whip admits to Taylor that he was the one who took the photo of Brooke and Thomas backstage.
10 – 16 Feb
Whip attempts to rationalize his actions with Taylor by explaining that he was trying to protect their marriage. Thomas sets Madison straight about the current state of their relationship.
Taylor shares her theory with Whip about why she thinks Thomas has been drawn in by Brooke. When Owen receives a troubling call that could ruin his and Jackie’s special day, it’s Nick that saves the day.
On the jet to Paris, Thomas grapples with the growing feelings that he’s having for his stepmother.
Taylor is appalled when she learns from Ridge that Thomas is on his way to Paris with Brooke and is angry that Ridge allowed it.
Oliver tells Marcus about his one night with Amber and how he’s still holding out for Hope. At Dayzee’s, Hope confronts Amber about seducing Liam. Amber refuses to answer Hope’s interrogation while Tawny has no problem speaking for her daughter.
When Oliver inquires about what Amber wants to tell him, Tawny intervenes and tells him that Amber slept with Liam, leaving a possibility that Oliver may have another chance with Hope.
