Soap wars: Brooke vs Dineo

Katherine Kelly Lang has been playing the role of Brooke Forrester since 1987. In the soapie she has two brothers, Ridge and Thorne Forrester, and later their dad Eric and eventually snogged Ridge’s son. With a great many marriages and affairs inbetween.

Ha! Love it.

Dineo Mashaba played by Katlego Danke has been turned into a super skank too.

Dineo AKA “little Dini” as her ex-husband and business tycoon, Kenneth Mashaba used to call her, arrived on our screens as  Kenneth’s trophy wife.

Since then she has been in and out of love with a number of male actors in the soapie. She has raided the Mashaba’s for her sexual venture.

Dini was with Kenneth and then she had an affair with Kenneth’s son (Thomas Mashaba). When he found out about the affair he closed Dini’s financial valve. She left Kenneth for his Brother, Paul Mashaba, who she stole from Karabo Moroka.

Paul died and while mourning him, she got up close with Lungile Mabena. Lungile has the hearts for Dini, but she has her eyes on the new Phenyo Mazibuko.

The thing about soapies is that one gets wind up in it and caught in the action, drama and scandals that they easily twist it with reality and forget its only acting. Hence so many celebrities are judged according to the character they play instead of who they are off camera.
