“Sister Wives” Alum Found Dead

Garrison Brown, the son of “Sister Wives” stars Kody and Janelle Brown, has died.

On Tuesday, 5 March, Garrison was found dead by his brother Gabriel at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona. According to a subsequent police report, his head bore a self-inflicted wound and a gun was found in his hand, which indicated that the 25-year-old had committed suicide.

Garrison was best known for appearing on the reality show “Sister Wives”, which followed the polygamous lifestyle of his father Kody, his four then-wives – Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn – and their 18 children.

Per the police report, Garrison apparently shared a disturbing text message in a group chat prior to his death: “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”

Alarmed, Janelle reached out to her son via text; they had a brief conversation, but eventually, he stopped responding to the rest of her texts. She then urged his siblings – including Gabriel – to check on him at his home.

Meanwhile, Garrison’s room-mates told an American media outlet that they heard a popping noise on the evening of Monday, 4 March, but they did not think it was a gunshot.

They also disclosed that the former reality star-turned-National Guard member was dealing with substance abuse, exacerbated by his strained relationship with Kody.
