New Footage of Kate Middleton Sparks More Gossip

Kate Middleton was finally spotted in public, but her appearance is doing little to quell cover-up rumours.

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales was filmed smiling and laughing during an outing to a nearby farm stall in Windsor, England, with Prince William on Sunday, 17 March. It’s the first time Middleton has been spotted out in public since her abdominal surgery in January.

Whiffs of a royal scandal began circulating the week before on Sunday, 10 March, when a strangely edited family photograph was posted on her official Instagram account in honour of Mother’s Day.

Rumours immediately sprung up, many accused the royal family of covering up the Princess’ lingering health issues. Middleton later issued an apology for the image, revealing that she considers herself an amateur photographer and edited the portrait.

However, the latest sighting hasn’t quite silenced the sceptics.

“That ain’t Kate…” television presenter, Andy Cohen, tweeted on Monday, 18 March.

“There’s a non-zero chance she died 18 months ago,” British comedian John Oliver later joked during a comedy skit that same evening.

Even Kim Kardashian has joined the investigative fray, announcing that she was “on [her] way to go find Kate” via an Instagram post.
