Benjamin faces the reaction to his betrayal and takes it on the chin, Sechaba finds himself wanting to throw in the towel after receiving even more bad news and Frank joins the frantic hunt for the kidnapped Ntando.
Daniel tries to find out why his own brother stabbed him so brutally in the back, a down and out Sechaba receives encouragement from an unexpected source and Nikiwe and Frank have a new suspect in the kidnapping.
Cherel struggles to neutralise a serious threat, Sechaba receives an unexpected endorsement in his bid for elected office and Rosie shows that she is not the innocent she appears to be.
Cherel blackmails Benjamin into committing a despicable deed, Sechaba does himself proud on by-election day, but rubs Slu up the wrong way and Benjamin makes a telephone call which will change the course of his life.
The Sibekos fear the worst when the kidnappers go silent, Cherel is out of jail and ready for battle and the by-election results are announced.

A shocking discovery by Nikiwe leads to a surprising outcome, Cherel and Kimberly go up against one another and Sechaba, yet again, receives encouragement and praise from an unlikely candidate.
Nikiwe finds herself in an impossible situation and passes the buck to Frank, Benjamin receives an unpleasant and unwanted gift and Ma Agnes has a thrilling suggestion for a young hustler.
Katlego’s snooping lands her in hot water, Daniel takes a huge gamble regarding the BLR leadership and a fuming Sechaba is snubbed by Jefferson.
Freedom Day takes on a whole new meaning for Ntando, Cherel credits Kimberly with helping her get her mojo back and Sechaba reinvents himself as environmental crusader.
Jefferson and Nikiwe force Rosie into a corner, Benjamin decides to reach out to Pieter and Sechaba, much to Lerato’s consternation, focuses his attention on the Re-Use Co-op Exhibition.
