Hayden Panettiere’s Estranged Mom Blasts Brian Hickerson

Lesley Vogel, the estranged mother of late actress and singer Hayden Panettiere, has less than kind words about Brian Hickerson, her daughter’s on-again, off-again boyfriend.

Multiple arrests and criminal charges have been brought against Hickerson since his relationship with Panettiere began in 2018, reportedly originating from abuse-related incidents involving the Nashville star.

Reports indicate that Hickerson and his brother, Zach, were at the apartment complex in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday, 16 August, where Panettiere experienced cardiac arrest and died at age 36.

In an interview with an American news outlet on Tuesday, 18 August, Vogel lamented the loss of her estranged daughter, touching upon the latter’s addiction struggles.

She then took shots at Hickerson, seemingly blaming him for the turmoil that Panettiere faced over the years: “This person in her life that we have been trying to get rid of for quite some time was with her at her death, and that was Brian Hickerson.

“There is a lot of history in the past that Brian has enabled Hayden many times, and this is why her father [Alan] and I had been concerned for a long time about him.”

Hickerson has yet to respond to Vogel’s remarks.
