Hannah Waddingham Scolds Paparazzi

Hannah Waddingham was quick to reprimand a mouthy photographer who seemingly asked her to “show some leg” on Sunday, 14 April.

The 49-year-old actress was adorned in a custom lilac Marchesa gown as she stood on the red carpet for the Olivier Awards – which she had been selected to host – at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

A fan took to Twitter the following day to share a video of the star as she posed for photographs. However, the moment was seemingly interrupted as she dropped her hands and said: “Oh my God, you’d never say that to a man, my friend,” in a disappointed tone.

Clearly becoming more frustrated with the situation, Waddingham added: “Don’t be a d***, otherwise I’ll move off. Don’t say ‘show me leg.’ No.” Her outburst was met with applause and cheers from the on-looking fans.

As the thespian walked away, she had one final remark for the photographer: “Have some manners.”
It’s unclear whether the photographer apologised to the actress, or if he attempted to justify his choice of words.

While Waddingham is best known for playing Rebecca Welton in the hit comedy series, “Ted Lasso”, she has also appeared in other iconic television series “Game of Thrones” and “Sex Education”.
