Gé Korsten’s wife dies

Johannesburg – Elna Korsten, wife of popular Afrikaans singer Gé Korsten, died late on Monday at the age of 81, reports .

Her daughter, Linda Korsten, co-producer of the musical film Liefling, said her mother became ill in January this year and never fully recovered.

She lived in a retirement home in George the last few years.

She is survived by five children, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Gé Korsten committed suicide in 1999.
