Cape Town – The Old Mutual Concert in the Park at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden in Krudersdorp this weekend featuring SAMA winner Zahara also boasts another addition.

Insurance company iWYZE will be offering a free breathalyzer facility that will allow music lovers the opportunity to check their own blood alcohol levels before leaving the venue.

The insurance company will also assist in arranging transport at a reduced cost for people who discover that they are over the legal limit.

“iWYZE is launching this self-monitoring breathalyzer facility as a public service,” said Willem Smith, CEO of Old Mutual iWYZE valuables insurance.

“We strongly believe that people should take responsibility for their actions and knowing whether you are close to, or over the blood alcohol limit is part of that responsibility,” he said.

Attendees can visit the iWYZE stand near the entrance to the venue and qualified personnel will supervise the actual breathalyzer test and provide immediate test results.

“This free and convenient breathalyzer service will make it easy for people to establish if they are safe to drive, enabling them to make a wise choice before they hit the road,” added Smith.

Tickets cost R80 from and are R100 at the event. Gates open at 11:00.
