Coroner Releases New Info About Hayden Panettiere’s Death
New information concerning the death of late actress and singer, Hayden Panettiere, has been revealed.
The 36-year-old Nashville star was found unresponsive at a residence in Greenville, North Carolina, on Sunday afternoon, 16 August.
According to a report released by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office on Monday, 17 August, emergency medical personnel were dispatched to Panettiere’s location, where they found a “female in cardiac arrest.”
Despite their attempts to save her, Panettiere was ultimately declared deceased at the scene.
An autopsy was performed on Monday and revealed no signs of trauma, the coroner’s report reveals:
“The cause and manner of death remain pending further investigation and the completion of additional studies. This investigation remains active and ongoing. No further details are available for release at this time.”
Panettiere began her career as a child actress, appearing in a slew of TV shows and films, including One Life to Live, Guiding Light, A Bug’s Life and Remember the Titans. She was also beloved for her later roles as cheerleader Claire Bennet on the superhero series, Heroes, and as country star Juliette Barnes on the musical drama show, Nashville.
Panettiere’s personal life was also marked by struggles with addiction and domestic abuse.
She is survived by her daughter Kaya with her ex-partner, Ukrainian former world heavyweight champion boxer, Wladimir Klitschko.
