Brown Dash family turns down help
Cape Town – A funeral parlour known for burying famous celebrities has had their offer to bury late Kwaito singer Brown Dash turned down by his family, reported
According to the newspaper City Funerals, who have helped put to rest many famous citizens such as late Minister Sicelo Shiceka, approached the Mpamile family with the intention of helping them with the funeral arrangements.
“I sent Mzwakhe Mbuli to talk to the family but they turned down my offer.
“They said they did not want my assistance because they have already made other arrangements,” Tony Guiness of City Funerals said.
‘We don’t want help’
Brown Dash’s brother Nhlanhla told that they wanted a “normal” funeral.
“As a family, we want to do what is normally done when a member has passed on. We don’t want help from any good Samaritan,” he said.
The family also refused to give out details about funeral arrangements.
Brown Dash who first burst into the scene with the hit song Phansi Komthunzi Welanga died at the Chris Hani- Baragwanath hospital after suffering from pneumonia.
