Afrikaans actor commits suicide
Johannesburg – Afrikaans actor Andrew Thompson, who was best known for his roles in Bakgat, Roepman and Mollie & Wors, has committed suicide.
tweeted on Saturday that the well-known actor had taken his own life on Friday.
A friend apparently found his body in his flat in Cresta, Randburg.
He played the role of Theunis in Molly & Wors, and was also known for his roles in numerous television series, including Generations, 7de Laan, Binnelanders and Hartland.
He also acted in theatre productions and appeared in television commercials.
