Actress Amanda Bynes arrested
Los Angeles – Authorities say actress Amanda Bynes has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she grazed a sheriff’s patrol car.
The 26-year-old was arrested early on Friday in West Hollywood.
The Sheriff’s Department says in a news release that Bynes tried to pass a patrol car making a right turn and hit it.
Bynes is being held on $5 000 bail. Messages to her publicist Melissa Raubvogel were not immediately returned.
The actress appeared in 2010’s Easy A and the Nickelodeon series What I Like About You.
