Wednesday Gaming – More Lay-Offs, Helldivers 2, Fortnite and MORE!

– Flaming Fowl Studios, the developers behind “Gloomhaven”, have released a demo of their co-op RPG, “Ironmarked”, in the bid to attract investors. Should this fail, “Ironmarked” will be shelved indefinitely.
– Because of lack of funding, Flaming Fowl has also laid off more than half its workforce, with its employee count decreasing from 30 people to nine.
– For what it’s worth, data miners claim that a new transport vehicle, known as the Colony Rover, could be made playable in “Helldivers 2” in the near future. The model already exists in the game files, albeit in a damaged state. However, they are said to have placeholder animations assigned to them already.
– A new update for “Fortnite” will allow players to turn off four emotes – “Take the L”, “Laugh It Up”, “Make It Plantain” and “Whipcrack” – which are deemed too “confrontational”.
– “Warhammer 40 000: Darktide” is receiving its own tabletop adaptation in the form of “Darktide: The Miniatures Game”. A release date has yet to be determined.
