Electronic music festival Sónar returns
Sónar, a music festival that showcases everything electronic, will return to South Africa at the end of the year.
The Sónar Cape Town event (in partnership with Olmeca Tequila) has announced the first headlining acts set to perform at the upcoming event this December, which include the Bloody Beetroots and 2ManyDJs.

The Cape Town event – held at the Good Hope Centre – will run on 15 and 16 December, while a satellite event in Johannesburg called A Taste of Sónar will be held on 12 December at the Nazrec Expo Centre.
Sónar has been around for 21 years and has explored the "evolution" of electronic music and it operates on a global basis as it showcases the best talent from around the world.
"Sónar is a unique festival model and we aim to replicate the Sónar ethos in South Africa and what makes it so successful around the world, within a local context." says Seed Experiences Managing Director Brian Little.
