Zayn Malik Says An Alien Told Him To Leave 1D
Well, this is rather “out there!”
Zayn Malik has recently revealed what exactly it was that prompted him to leave One Direction. And if you thought it was something to do with the other members of the British boy band, think again.
Speaking to Glamour magazine about his new solo career, album and his infamous decision to leave One Direction in March of last year, Zayn revealed what was the catalyst that made him decide to quit – and left millions of Directioners heartbroken.
“…An alien spoke to me in a dream,” he said.
That’s right. Zayn claims that an alien appeared to him in a dream and told him to leave the band. Whether it’s true or not, Zayn is sticking by his statement.
He subsequently left the band and launched his solo career, with the first single off his solo album, Pillow Talk, topping the charts and featuring girlfriend Gigi Hadid in the music video.
He also revealed other information in his interview, saying that Michael Jackson – and more specifically Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ as his greatest musical influence.
When asked what he does the minute he gets off stage, he coyly replied:
“…Pay homage to Bob Marley,”
Well the – perhaps Zayn’s alien vision was thanks to him paying homage to Bob Marley.
