Zanele’s Funeral Set For Friday

Zanele Moyo, daughter of Professor Jonathan Moyo – Minister of Higher Education – will be laid to rest on Friday.

The 20-year old political science student was found dead in her off-campus flat on Saturday, 17 October in Cape Town.

According to the Moyo family, Zanele’s body was supposed to arrive in Zimbabwe yesterday, but because of some logistical issues with moving the body from South Africa to Zimbabwe, the body would only arrive today (Wednesday).

The South African police service still has no solid leads on any possible suspects in Zanele’s death, except for an alleged friend of Zanele named Stephen that police would like to question as a person of interest.

President Robert Mugabe is also said to be condoling Professor Moyo.
