‘X-Factor’ judges fired after comments
X-Factor New Zealand judges Natalia Kills and her husband Willy Moon were fired from the show after throwing nasty comments at contestant Joe Irvine and you can check it out on the Youtube video embedded below.
The pair criticised Irvine for copying Moon’s style from the clothing to the hair with Kills starting off the rant saying: "Ladies and Gentleman. I’m just gonna state the obvious. We have a doppelganger in our midsts."
Kills continued throwing low-blows at Irvine and even went as far as saying: "I’m going say it. It’s disgusting. You make me sick. You have no identity. I can’t stand it, I’m ashamed to be here."
Moon also threw some shade at Irvine comparing him to Psycho character Norman Bates saying: "It’s like Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing. It’s just a little bit creepy and I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and kill everybody in the audience."
MediaWorks who are the owners of TV3 – the broadcaster of the show released a statement confirming Kills and Moon’s termination.
"Contestants put their all into this competition and they should expect to receive feedback and criticism that is professional and constructive. We no longer have confidence that Kills and Moon are the right people to perform the role of X Factor judges and they will leave the show, effective immediately" said Mediaworks chief executive Mark Weldon in the statement.
