Willian Wants Loftus-Cheek Back
Chelsea midfielder Willian thinks that it’s time for Ruben Loftus-Cheek to return to Stamford Bridge, and has urged the club to recall him.
The 29-year-old Brazilian international has questioned why Chelsea allowed Loftus-Cheek to move to Crystal Palace on loan in the first place.
Loftus-Cheek reportedly requested the loan so that he could have more game time on the field.
The 21-year-old English international has been making headlines this season for his excellent performance for Crystal Palace.
Loftus-Cheek has also been called up to play for England’s national team for the first time.
Willian, who has played and trained with the youngster, was impressed with his performance when they played on opposite sides in an England-Brazil friendly recently.
“A very good player. He is strong, he has quality. He has a great future,” said Willian.
Loftus-Cheek was named man of the match in his England debut against world-champions, Germany.
