Will Juventus force Dybala to Join Man United?
Manchester United have been busy this transfer window trying to bolster their team for the 2019/20 season, and one of their recent deals is a potential swap involving Romelu Lukaku for Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.
However, the Argentine isn’t happy with the idea of moving to Old Trafford. He believes that playing for Man United – who will not even feature in the UEFA Champions League – would be a backwards step in his career and will not open more opportunities for him to win trophies.
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku has already agreed to the terms of this lucrative deal with the Old Lady, but the transfer cannot be completed until Dybala agrees to join the Red Devils.
Dybala returned to Turin, Italy, on Thursday, 1 August, from his holiday and was expected to discuss his future with Juventus’ new boss Maurizio Sarri but that didn’t happen as the Argentine forward was said to be too tired from a long flight and needed a few hours to rest.
Juve are putting pressure on Dybala in an attempt to make him accept United’s offer; the forward was told not to return to training until Monday, 5 August, and he wasn’t scheduled to take a routine medical check up on Friday, 2 August.
