West Brom Pay £13 million For Nacer Chadli
English Premier League club, West Bromwich Albion has paid a whopping £13 million for the services of Belgian winger Nacer Chadli.
The fee is the most the club has ever paid for any player.
Chadli was previously with Tottenham Hotspur, but did not manage to make that many first team appearances for the club.
Chadli is only West Brom manager, Tony Pulis’s third signing since the end of the previous season.
However, he seems very happy to have Chadli on his team.
“…He’s a top, top player and I’m delighted we’ve got him. I said last week that these signings all had to be about players who would improve our squad – and Nacer does precisely that,” he said.
As for Chadli, he too seems delighted to have signed with West Brom – telling the club’s official website:
“…I feel very good to be here. It came very quickly but I spoke to the club and they have a good team, a good manager and I am very pleased to be here…[sic] My ambitions? I just want to help the team win as many games as possible.”
