Wendy Williams Relapses, Rushed to Hospital
Wendy Williams has been hospitalised after suffering an alcohol relapse, mere hours after her husband’s alleged mistress gave birth.
According to reports, the talk show host had been staying in a sober living facility in Queens, New York, to receive treatment for drug and alcohol addiction.
However, Williams checked out of the facility on Monday, 25 March, following reports that her husband Kevin Hunter’s alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson, had given birth in Philadelphia that day.
A studio source explained to a media outlet: “[Williams] was in a bad way and disappeared from the studio after her show [on] Monday. She went back to the sober house, only to check herself out, and decided to start drinking.”
Williams’ team apparently found the talk show host in an intoxicated state at an unidentified location. She was transported to a local hospital and treated via IV fluids. She returned to the sober living facility the next day.
Meanwhile, Hunter has yet to confirm or deny that he is the father of Hudson’s baby.
